meditation is for everybody!
Lots of people talk to me about wanting to meditate but not being motivated, not knowing how, or thinking they can't do it. But meditation is for everybody and can be used for stress reduction, mindfulness, spiritual integration, and many other things. Many people find it to be one of the most useful, powerful, and helpful practices they've ever done and are so grateful that they undertook it. I will lead a discussion on peoples' ideas about, and reasons for, wanting to meditate, discuss meditation from a Buddhist and secular perspective, and lead a thirty minute meditation session. Afterwards, we'll talk about our experience.
