This is a Stick Up! The No Gun Guide to Home Tattooing for the Thoughtful and Thrifty
In this workshop students will learn how to administer permanent tattoos with simple materials. Examples will be shown including a live demonstration. Discussion will be invited. Participants will not give or receive tattoos during the workshop but will be given the opportunity to develop ideas with the instructors and fellow students that will help guide them in a home project.

lesson plan
The instructors will show examples of home tattoos and discuss the means and materials used. There will be a discussion about sanitation, permanence and thoughtful practice. The class concludes with an a live demonstration of one form of home tattooing which will be administered by the instructors. During this time students my watch, ask questions, move into groups for discussion or learn and make their own temporary tattoos!
facilitator experience
Instructors are long time participants in both giving and receiving home tattoos. This is their second year teaching this workshop.
intended audience
Anyone interested in learning about alternative means of administering tattoos. The course is open to all participates whether or not students have preconceived intentions in giving or receiving tattoos. Intended for persons will little or no previous knowledge in home tattooing and mature and thoughtful persons.
