An Intro to Non-Violent Communication
In this introductory workshop, we will focus on two aspects of communication: honest self-expression (expressing oneself in a way that's likely to inspire compassion in others) and empathy (listening with deep compassion). Participants will learn how stay connected to their compassionate nature even under the most trying circumstances, and practice steering conversations back to needs, feelings, and perceptions, thereby cultivating connection and identifying strategies that allow all party's needs to be met.
