Building a Portfolio Website for Artists and Writers-Free
More and more, freelance work for graphic designers, writers, and photographers is dependent on having an outstanding online portfolio of work. Being able to show prospective clients a online showcase of your best work shows professionalism, and can also help clients find you. But what if your web development skills are nowhere near as awesome as your photography or writing skills--what if you're new to website design, and can't write a line of code? We'll explore how to create an online portfolio with no coding skills, and intermediate computer skills. You'll have a professional-looking online portfolio to show clients. We'll even explore ways to set up your portfolio so that people searching on the web for services like yours come to you. We'll provide each other with feedback about our designs, and share ideas for creative, eye-catching portfolios.
