Storytelling for fun and performance - how to tell a damn good story!

Come and learn the joys of storytelling, and leave having learned how to tell a damn good story!
Learn what it take to tell a story from your personal life for fun, for work, or to compete in the Boston StorySlam Series.
Through a series of fun games and activities, participates will learn the basics for creating and telling a short, concise
story that will captivate and entertain any audience.

massmouth promotes the living art of story and storytelling throughout the Boston/MA area. Over the past
2 years, massmouth has produced MouthOff storytelling open mics in Cambridge and Boston, created an interactive
website with a collection of over 300 live storytelling videos, and had produces the wildly successful Boston/Cambridge
Story Slam Series (based on the Moth Collective in NYC), which recently cumulated in our Big MouthOff Story Slam Finale -where
20 storytellers competed before overflowing audience (370+ people) in the Copley Square Library's Rabb Hall, Boston.
The massmouth founders, Noorah Dooley, Andrea Lovette, and Doria Hughes, collectively have over 60 years of experience teaching and telling stories
to people ages 1 to 101.

intended audience

This workshop is intended for participants over the age of 16, who are open
to try new things and exploring there own creativity and imaginations
