Sold! To the highest bidder...
A workshop on the wonderful world of auctions. Auctions are a great way to furnish a home, buying at auction means recycling and being green, it doesn't have to be intimidating and isn't only for millionaires! There are many auctions that have reasonably priced items, items that go for the same price you would spend for a similar object at Ikea or a furniture store. Learn how auctions work, how to bid, phone bidding, internet bidding, absentee bidding, searching for objects, attending an auction, and everything else that you need to know to start buying at auctions.

Third, I will give examples of items that have sold at reasonable prices recently at my auction house (Kaminski Auctions), prices that you would pay for brand new much less well made furniture or decorative items at retail places, I will also bring examples. Lastly, I will talk briefly about real versus fake objects and quick ways to tell the difference.
