This workshop provides an overview and discussion of the essentials of changing your name for the transgender and genderqueer community. It will discuss how to change your name, concerns and obstacles that you might encounter, and additional steps that you might want to take after or during the name change process, such as changes with Social Security, DMV, credit cards, and educational records. -- Organized by Massachusetts Transgender Legal Advocates, a free legal clinic for low-income transgender people, Emilia Dunham, Northeastern University, and Rachel K.
