Getting your message out there: Freedom of Speech and Local Cable-TV Resources

Students learn how to get their message out using inexpensive public resources. Teacher(s) will share info about who to talk to, what to expect, when getting started in cable access TV. Also, a short presentation will be given on how to present yourself (on camera) to a TV audience, and how to organize a press release for print and TV.

A short segment will also be taught on how to get the best out of your home camcorder.

People can meet and discuss action steps to make their message better heard, and then we will report on those ideas to the group.

Other local resources will be provided.
