Introductory Boabom for Self-Defense
This class will teach some simple self-defense techniques from the art of Boabom,
a unique system of active relaxation, moving meditation, and self-defense
with roots in ancient Tibet.

lesson plan
In this class we'll first review some warm-up exercises and breathing techniques.
Then we'll practice some basic movements (stances, blocks, and strikes),
and finally we'll see how to put them together in practical coordinations.
facilitator experience
Ryan has been teaching Boabom and related arts of movement for several
years. He teaches at the Boston School of Boabom and coordinates the
weekly Intro class on Saturdays.
intended audience
Everyone! All you need to attend are some loose, comfortable clothes and a desire to learn!
