Social Networking / The Art of the Schmooze
Have a great idea and you want everyone to know about it? Do you feel awkward at networking events and uncomfortable making new connections? Come to this workshop to learn best practices for social networking - off-line and in person. Learn how to have the right tools and best framework to get broad support. We'll cover the basics of how to work a room or network at a conference and advanced techniques like counter flyering and making the soft pitch. We'll apply these concepts to examples suggested by the group, so bring something you wanna pitch!
