Prefigurative Parenting: Growing Empowered Kids from the Beginning
Using doll baby substitutes, we'll learn some practical skills like breast feeding, baby wearing, and respectful communication with toddlers, while discussing the anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian reasons for these practices. While most of the workshop will focus on very young people, we'll also spend a little bit of time discussing schooling, nutrition, media/marketing to kids, and freeing kids from compulsory gender. parents, potential parents, and people who are just curious about relating to parents and kids are all welcome to participate. please bring water to drink.
