We The People: Talking to Elected Officials
Hey, protests are great and sometimes they get the job done. But sometimes making change is just a phone call away. Learn to build relationships with your elected officials, research issues you care about, and state your case. We'll discuss the pros and cons of various ways of contacting your representatives. Great for anyone that has ever wanted to go beyond fill-in-the-blank email petitions.
Participants will aquire knowledge about researching issues, setting up meetings with elected officials, grassroots lobbying, meeting with elected officials, writting letters, and making to calls to elected officials.
