Lindy Hop Your Way To Anarchist Utopia
The irrepressible Emma Goldman is often quoted as having said, "If I can't dance I don't want to be in your revolution." Come and learn a basic swing dance steps, and see if you can't work them into your "radical movement"!
Participants will learn the general idea behind partner dancing, the six-count "East Coast" basic step, the right and left side pass and loop turns, the basic swingout, and the so-called sweetheart step. Time permitting, we might also tackle the eight-count Lindy Hop basic and its variations.
