Empowerment 101
This workshop will explore the feminist model of empowerment. We will explore empowerment as the idea of "power with" as opposed to the dominant ideology of "power over". We will explore how this model is useful in personal relationships, and how it is useful for activists who would like to acquire skills for more effective political advocacy.
Participants will learn practical skills for effective, empowering communication and activism.
